I'm back!  :)    And I'm soooo happy to report that little Esther saw the Neurologist on the 30 June and he (after much Ummming and Aaahhing!) finally decided that the right thing to do was to reduce her current Epilepsy meds and 'wean' her off them , so that hopefully by the end of August /beginning of September she should be free of her meds completely ... we are soooo relieved and truly feel this is the right action that is needed now.  What the future holds medication wise we don't know but for now this is the right course to take. That's not to say that she's home dry yet, there are serious risks with a child with her complex needs and she's always going to be 'at risk' of a fatal seizure...but she was still 'at risk' on the meds, off the meds at least she has a better quality of life. :)  And as if to prove our point she's had no major seizures in the last 2 weeks , a couple of wobbles but no 999 calls. And she's brightened up in her little character,  I'm seeing that glint of mischief in her eyes much more frequently!!  :)  We had Parents Evening at the Angels school this last week and her Teachers noted that they'd seem a definite change in her just this last week, as her dosages have gone down, its all very encouraging, and I'm trying not to get too excited and carried away because I know things can change, but just for now our spirits are lifted and Life feels  a bit more like LIFE  !! Lol!

Almost in celebration of the 'brightening of life' ...hahaha  I've been doing lots of sewing...(had to slow down this week for fear of nothing to do...lol!)  I've also been very good and stayed away from E-bay  ;)  .... Oooooh but I do have my wonderful package to share...must remember to show you that but first some pictures of 'finished' goods :)

First my 'Heart to Hand' Christmas Blocks that I just LOVE!!!!
Three more finished, there is another one but can't find the photo on this 'puter...it could be on my netbook thingy , will search for it in a  bit :)

Next there's my 'Heart to Hand' Autumn Blocks...
Ggrrrrr ... again that's all I can find on this 'puter....come on Wendy get your act together....I'll have to save this and switch to my net book ...back in a mo ! ;)
Right I'm back again!! hahaha... lets see how I get on now....
O.K. !!!   Blaaaah !! That didn't work either 1/2 an hour and still not uploading pictures from my netbook...probably needs charging so my technical assistant's have shown me how to transfer photos from 'puter to 'puter with a pen drive thingy so back to the main 'puter and we'll try yet again....
Taadaah! :) The lost Christmas block...photo's a bit dark, sorry but I'm technologically whacked , I can't figure out how to brighten it up  :(   But that makes 9 of the Christmas blocks completed ... yipeeeee! OK now to find the Autumn blocks...
Pheeeeew!!!  And I do have the 6th Autumn block finished ... just haven't taken a picture yet!!  :)  So I'm as up to date with both BOM's as I can be until dear Primitive Gatherings sends out my next set of blocks, they come alternate months so I should be due some in July  :))  I've already said how much I'm enjoying these ... I really dooooo love them , soooo relaxing and so many lovely wools to sew with ... I'm having to hold myself back ... lol!

So what else have I been up to? .... Pincushions!! ... 'Just Anther Button Company' Pincushions!!! .... OOOoooooooohhhhhh ...
A Carrot! :)

Oooohhh  a Strawberry  :)    .... and my favorite....

A Blackbird! Aaaawww :) They come as little kits with everything bar the needle to sew them up, thread, filling, buttons and pins ! And they are quick and easy but look lovely when finished  :)  I have been a busy girl ... lol! And I've been sewing
some Christmassy gifties for a friend  ;)

Ooooh almost forgot to share my exciting package ! ....

Its the Wool Ark Crazy.... kit!!!!! from PG... Ooooo so many gorgeous wools and ... well its enough to send you to woolly heaven ...lol ! I don't know if you can see in the very bad photo but the package was miss-sent to Kenya!!  Which obviously meant a delay in its arriving but it also meant that there were NO Import and Duty Taxes to be paid .... hooooraaaay! I'm saving this beautiful little wool quilt as a gift for Abi's first baby .... years , and years in the future,  lol  so plenty of time to start and finish it!! Or knowing me it might just end up being something that Grandma Wendy gets out for visiting Grandchildren to look at ... hahaha ... you know me and my wool ... we don't like to be parted ...  hehehe ;)

Well I don't know about you but I'm pooped! All that uploading and technological mish mash has worn me out, so I'll close now and go find some wool to stroke...very sooooothing..lol!

Love  and Hugs Wendy  x
